Basic mindfulness brings awareness to the present moment through our senses, our bodies, and our ability to observe without judging. In this workshop, we expand mindfulness practices to the “heart practices” of non-injury, compassion, equanimity, and forgiveness. Take your mindfulness practices to their next step, through present awareness and beyond, to examine the possibilities of the heart in each moment. This workshop will deepen your experience of mindfulness and expand your connection with others. We’ll include gentle and restorative heart-opening asana practice interspersed with guided contemplation and meditation.
