**Ever feel like after a flow class you find yourself craving to get some cardiovascular movement as well? This class is a perfect combination of both! Flow yoga is a wonderful way to create strength, flexibility, and presence. But it is also important, especially as we age, to get our hearts pumping.

The class will contain traditional yoga flow sequences, but with pops of repetitive movement (think mountain climbers or good old aerobics movements like side steps and jumping jacks). These intentional repetitive movements are not without purpose. They will help strengthen areas like your core, arms, and legs, get your heart rate up, and bring you into a place of mindfulness through repetition. We will begin with intention setting and a moment to settle in, then dive right into movement. We will end with a short bit of stretch and thanking our bodies for showing up!

Inversion Excursion In-Studio Workshop with Zach Mckinney

This workshop will take place in the studio. Students must be fully vaccinated to participate.

Of all the genres of asanas, inversions get the least mat time; rarely do we get the chance to break them down and practice without interruption. This workshop is intended for students who want to learn new ways to get into inversions, techniques for finding stability and increasing endurance, and ways to refine their poses.

This is not an introductory class so experience with handstands, headstands, and forearm balance is required. We will explore these inversions and variations of them in a rigorous but fun two hour class intended to push boundaries, and discover (or rediscover) confidence in ourselves!
