This workshop will be offered both In-Studio and Livestream. All students who register will receive a join link from hello@fitgrid.com approximately a half hour before the class start time, even if you are joining in studio. Can’t join us at 1:00 pm because of your schedule or time zone? We’ve got you covered! Reserve your livestream spot and we’ll send you the video recording to watch when you can, available for 10 days after the class.
If you plan to attend in-studio, full vaccination and masks are required.
Yoga is a holistic practice that is meant to support wellness and health. Yogic movements compress and release tissues and change our body’s orientation to gravity, removing toxins and reducing inflammation. Yoga also reduces stress hormones by teaching us how to relax. When our nervous systems are calm, we can digest our food better and our bodies are better able to fight off illness and disease.
This workshop will begin with traditional yoga poses that charge up the immune system. We will then move to a very soothing practice on the floor creating sliding and gliding movements that rinse the lymphatic system and calm the nervous system.
Please bring a blanket or beach towel that covers your mat in addition to your yoga mat for this class.
CEUs are available for this workshop to yoga teachers.
