This workshop will take place in the studio. Moms must be fully vaccinated to participate. Masks are optional as of Friday, February 25, 2022.
Being a new mother brings the joy of meeting and loving your child as well as fatigue, tightness in the neck and shoulders, and weakened abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. Join Ellie in this special class for new mothers and learn how to refine your yoga practice to suit a body that has recently given birth. During this session, new mothers will find much needed reservoirs of energy and open areas of the body that have become tight from caring for a new baby. Moms are welcome to bring their pre-crawling babies to class with them.
Please note that this is not a traditional “baby & me” class and the focus of class will be on the moms, rather than entertaining the babies.However, we hope to create a welcoming space for new mothers who might be on a tight feeding schedule so expect some diaper changes and cute baby noises. 🙂
Please bring a blanket or towel with you to class along with your own yoga mat.
