Yoga & Acupuncture Mini Retreat with Anisha
The fast and overly stimulated lifestyles that we lead don’t give our bodies the opportunity to fully rest. In order to rest, we need our fight-or-flight response (sympathetic nervous system) to calm down so that the healing and repair processes (parasympathetic nervous system) can turn on. Join Anisha to bring yourself back to balance!
We will begin with a gentle yoga class to release stored tension and bring balance to your body. The yoga will be followed by a simple but very effective Acupuncture treatment to support and nourish your Qi or Life Force. The benefits of experiencing Acupuncture in a group are amplified by the quiet stillness and the Qi healing Anisha will be emitting to the room. Participants will allow their bodies’ own Life Force to reestablish harmony and bring balance to their entire being (much like group meditation). The special class will close with breathing techniques to help integrate the treatment and enhance the overall balance of the nervous system. Leave feeling revitalized, calm, and relaxed!
Note: class size is limited to 15 students. The acupuncture will include 4-5 points per person and is appropriate for any student comfortable lying on his/her back.
