Winter Wonder-Yin with Colby
Winter is a time to turn inward, reflect and nurture the Yin aspects of ourselves. Yin yoga offers a deep, slow and meditative practice that promotes the health and well-being of the connective tissues in the body. It also restores our energetic center and encourages the flow of prana/qi throughout the body.
Replenish body, mind and spirit with an integrated practice of guided meditation, pranayama, and yin & restorative yoga. This workshop will focus on releasing holding patterns in both the body and mind. We will practice a longer series of Yin postures focusing on the hips and lower spine, a loving kindness meditation, and an extended savasana.
