Find relief from the summer heat with a long, soothing Restorative yoga practice led by Barbara. By resting in stillness with the body supported by props, the nervous system begins to settle and the body starts to cool down. Restorative yoga focuses on passive poses that help to heal the effects of chronic stress on the body and mind. You are fully supported in each pose with props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks and eye pillows. This peaceful and rejuvenating style of yoga helps melt away stress in the physical body. In this workshop you will learn pranayama (breathing techniques) to help relax the body and mind, and enjoy a longer sequence of restorative poses. You’ll leave feeling rested, rejuvenated and refreshed!
