Balancing Your Energy: An Introduction to the Chakra System with Nancy April 10th

The Sanskrit word chakra literally translates as “wheel” or “disk” and refers to wheels of prana, energy, throughout the body. These energy centers correspond to nerve centers in the body and are associated with our psychological, emotional, and spiritual states of being. Aligned and balanced chakras allow energy to flow freely.

 

This exploration of the chakra system will include an introduction to chakra theory followed by a chakra-balancing flow and meditation. Previous yoga experience is recommended. Participants are encouraged to bring a journal.
