Tween & Teen Yoga 8 Week Series – OUTDOOR at NCMA Park with Rachel Wright

Thursdays, 4:45 – 5:45pm

$120 for the 8-week series

This series is designed for tweens and teens ages 10-16.

2110 Blue Ridge Rd

Meet at the flat grassy area beside the old gallery building (to the left of the building & water fountains if you are walking in from the main parking lot)

Please register using your child’s name. No refunds/credits will be issued if individual classes are missed during the series. In case of inclement weather the class will still be held and taught as LiveStream on Zoom.

This special 8 class series is designed to build and promote inner and outer strength, self-confidence, and compassion. Students will gain awareness, control, and flexibility by playing with yoga poses, exploring yoga games, listening to centering music, and experiencing age appropriate breathing exercises. These classes create a way for tweens and teens to feel more at home inside of their own bodies and emotions. They will leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and a little more comfortable in their own skin!

Teens should bring their yoga mat, water bottle, and bug spray. Masks are required. In the event of cancellation the class will be offered LiveStream on Zoom and notice will be given via email.

Kid’s Yoga In Studio Series for 6-10 Year Olds with Jen Davis

$75 for the 6-week series

Class size is limited to 9 children in studio. Masks required at all times & COVID protocols will be followed. Parents: please register using your child’s name. No refunds/exchanges for missed classes in the series.

Parents who are late picking up children will be charged $10 for every 10 minutes they are late.

In this Kid’s Yoga series for 6-10 year olds, children will improve strength, flexibility, balance, and concentration through the practice of yoga. Kids get all the benefits of a yoga and mindfulness practice that adults get but the approach is different! Join Jen as she teaches students the poses, calming breathing techniques, and mindfulness with movement, games, music, books, and more! Each class will end with watercolor painting as a mindfulness practice.

Parents/caregivers: you must leave your children in our care during the class so we can adhere to indoor Covid capacity guidelines.
