Yoga for Low Back Pain

According to the Mayo Clinic website, “Back pain is a common complaint. Most people in the United States will experience low back pain at least once during their lives. Back pain is one of the most common reasons people go to the doctor or miss work.”

 

Experience a yoga practice focusing on strengthening the core and increasing fluidity in the spine from tailbone to skull which will help to ease pain and strain, increasing your chances for relief. In this workshop, we will focus on poses and movements that can be done on the yoga mat and off to help relieve pain and pressure in the low back. You will be offered practical solutions for avoiding pain, as well as taking positive steps to heal. Yoga teachers can earn 2 CEU hours for this workshop.
