Welcome in the winter season with time of introspection, self-care, and quiet.
This class will combine the use of yin yoga postures and yoga therapy balls or two tennis balls to release deep tension and knots from the upper body. This includes the shoulders, neck, forearms, carpel tunnel, and elbows. Yin yoga postures are mainly done lying down or seated on the floor and held for at least three minutes. The tennis or therapy balls will be used in gentle rolling techniques and trigger point release. Additional props that will be helpful are a yoga block and blanket(s). Empower yourself to release long held tension and muscle pain and emerge from this online class feeling lighter and more open.
