Therapeutic Alignment Series starts October 25th

This workshop is designed for students looking to create better alignment in class and teachers of yoga interested in guiding their students towards better alignment. Information gained from this series will transfer well to your regular yoga classes, and aid in developing a better awareness of how your body structure operates in yoga poses. Although there may not be a “right” or “wrong” way to do yoga poses, there is definitely a “safe” and “unsafe” way. Learn safe practices that will keep your body healthy and assist in healing pain and discomfort. Yoga teachers interested in learning better alignment and alignment cues will earn 8 CEU hours for this series.

 

  • Session 1, Below The Belt: Align legs and hips for feel better feet, knees and low back
  • Session 2, Untwist Your Trunk: Align your spine to reduce scoliotic curve and back pain, and to strengthen your core
  • Session 3, Spread Your Wings: Align your shoulders and arms to heal your neck, elbows, and wrists
  • Session 4, Healthy Head: Align your skull, jaw, and neck to ease headaches and TMJ, and to quiet the mind
