Introduction to Inversions with Zach Mckinney

Inversions are among the most intimidating of poses we encounter in class, but they also have the most to teach us. When our world is turned upside down, when the Universe decides everything is going too smoothly and wants to uproot us, can we turn to our breath? Can we maintain our sense of self, our sense of connection, while dealing with upheaval? This workshop is intended to teach the basics of inverting, how to do it safely, and how to train yourself to breath through uncertainty. We will work on our own and together to learn handstand, headstand, and forearm balance. Prior inversion experience is not required.
