Laughter Yoga is a simple, powerful practice for you to improve your health, confidence, mood and boost the immune system.
Yoga means union, joining, or connection and Laughter Yoga is social yoga. It is a chance to connect with others while removing blocks to our child-like inner self. In a Laughter Yoga session you will begin by practicing gentle breathing exercises, warming up the body with clapping and then engaging in exercises to induce laughter for no reason. Laughter may begin in a forced or fake way, but by the end of the session this will give way to relaxed, spontaneous laughter, bringing you a feeling of peacefulness. The session will conclude with guided Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and meditation.
Renée Baker, RYT-500, and certified Laughter Leader, will guide your session.
