Chakra Vinyasa Flow Sunday August 6th with Jen Bluestone

This workshop with Prana Flow instructor Jen Bluestone will focus on the seven energy centers in the body known as chakras. Each of the seven chakras are located along the spine beginning at the base and rising: root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown. Each chakra has many characteristics associated with it, including element, pranayama, mantra, asana, visualization, and more.

Through a specially designed vinyasa practice, time will be spent to heal, balance, and soothe each of your seven chakras. Experience each of the elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space in your practice through breath, asana, music, language, and vision. Yoga Nidra will conclude the practice as you rise into the seventh chakra: the seat of your true self.

Basic knowledge of vinyasa yoga is recommended, as the class is not designed to break down the asana, but to allow the student to drop into the bhavana (feeling state) created in each chakra.

The Source of Love is above name and form. He is present in all and transcends all…the course of space, air, fire, and water and the earth that holds us all. Fire is his head, sun and moon his eyes, the air his breath, the universe his heart. The Lord of Love is the innermost Self of all.  ~Upanishads
